I
is inspired by nature, wherever I am
Despite
I still felt that I did not grow up in an artistic environment as a teenager
spontaneously entered the Central Museum on a rainy day. I thought about that
a painting by Karel Appel, certainly not my favorite. An employee of
the museum came to me and told me what the painting was supposed to represent.
The story moved me and to my surprise the painting came “to life”.
This was my first introduction to 'art'.
My favorites now are classical 'masters' paintings that
radiate harmony and can delight you like a Van Gogh,
Monet, Renoir and Joaquin Sorolla, but I also like the colorful touch of
Jan Sluijters.
My paintings are created in moments
where the heart opens. Flower fields full of poppies, the pure beauty of
wild flowers, the scent of lavender, the silent interplay of birds or a beautiful
set table in the garden are important
sources of inspiration.
Also during my trips to
I do impressions in various places
that find their way into my work. It's an ongoing journey of discovery—one
experience of everything that is possible.
I watch with passion and curiosity
looking forward to what the future will bring me. There is so much inspiration, full
new challenges, colors and materials.
I distance myself from the lessons I have
receive and consciously choose the path of freedom.
