Janny van den Broek, a versatile visual artist

Her love for painting flowers is a recurring theme work. The often colorful flowers are depicted in her watercolors in a tender and refined manner. Using flowers that she often picks herself she creates compositions which she then renders in her recognizable style on paper and canvas

She works with oil paint, acrylics and watercolor/gouache.  Her paintings range from small to large formats and in her mixed media works she combines various techniques. 

Her latest challenge is her 'flower press journey', in which she explores the beauty of the flowers 'pressed' with the right technique, patience and carefully processed into beautiful compositions.
